BJP MP Dilip Ghosh stoked a
controversy, saying that "beef eaters should eat street dogs." While
addressing a gathering, the BJP MP said, “Educated people in Kolkata consume
beef on the streets. I suggest you also have street dogs. Have every animal.
But have it at home. Don't have it on the streets. We consider cow as
God." He further added, “As mother, cows give milk. How will you react if
someone wrongs our mother. The same treatment should be given to beef
eaters.kill them and eat them."
