There
are over 47 farmers who have been arrested in Greater Noida due to demanding
huge compensation for their respective farm lands that have been acquired for
the construction of an airport. According to the source of a report, when they
started blockade in Jewar, the police arrested them as their protests may
obstruct the traffic movement in Greater Noida.
