The Supreme Court on
Wednesday granted bail to former union finance minister P Chidambaram in INX
Media corruption case. The top court has asked Chidambaram to surrender his
passport. The apex court also asked him to not tamper with the evidence.
Chidambaram's son and MP Karti Chidambaram wrote on Twitter, “Phew. At last
after 106 days." A few days back, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi had met the former union finance
minister at Tihar Jail. Chidambaram was arrested on August 21 by the CBI.
