Sharma had scored 529 runs from respective four innings and he has become the
only fifth Indian opener for scoring 500 plus runs in the test series. Rohit Sharma
says that his 200 run innings in Ranchi against South Africa was by far the
most challenging one yet in test cricket. He said that his partnership with
Ajinkya Rahane was quite crucial. Rohit
had scored 176,127 in respective first test series in opposition to South
Africa and now he has made double hundred against South Africa.
