ICONIC Record Holder of India - Ramita Bhaduri

Born to Darbar and Namita Bhaduri, Ramita Bhaduri is an artist in the field of art and creativity; a versatile personality, an artist who can easily flow from oil to water and stone to chalk and is a singer by passion.

By sheer dint of her expertise, Ramita Bhaduri has entered into the many record books and platforms. From a very low economical status she started her unstoppable creativity. Social struggle, she has faced lots of obstacles, even from surroundings, but nothing could stop her from reaching her goal.
Recently, she has made new record in ‘Limca Book of Records’---‘Most Acrylic Paintings in 24 Hours’ by creating 213 paintings. This is the Most Painting Record in 24 hours in the whole world. She is the only person between male and female artists in the world to achieve this record. Next also, she is going to make a record on sculptures.

Her name has been included as an incredible record holder in the GK book as well as a ready reckoner   ‘Wow! India: 500 Incredible Records and Fascinating Facts from Around the Country’ published by Hachette India. On 14th June 2019 Ramita Bhaduri has received the Genius Award(GIAA) at Dublin Square, Phoenix, Mumbai.

Recently, Birla TMT has awarded her by giving the honour She The Power Nihar Naturals has selected her as an 'Akai Aiksho' woman achiever and TIMES OF INDIA has selected her for their ‘Times Women Heroes’ as Artist of Humanity Her name has been registered as New National Record in April,2017 in ‘India Book of Records’ because of ‘Most Theme Based Chalk Sculptures’ for ‘Peace Against Violence and Against Religious Discrimination’.



 On 12th November, 2017 she was felicitated for her artistry on ‘Peace Against Violence and Against Religious Discrimination’ by ‘World Record Union’ at ‘World Stage’ at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi.

She has received Felicitation Medal from ‘Indo-China Book of Records’ for her artistry. On 2nd October 2018, her name was registered in ‘World Records India’ as a new Record for her paintings and sculptures for ‘Most Theme Based Sculptures and Paintings’.


Her songs were in World Top 20(online) in 2013 by recording albums of Rabindra Sangeet and Sachin Dev Burman’s rare Bengali songs. The 26-11 Mumbai blast vibrated her so deeply that she started to work actively with full dedication for Peace. She has worked on Peace through her sculptures and paintings, which is spread in whole world. You can see it in Google. And in this aspect, in her name has been registered in Peace News-Peace History-Ultimate Database (020-02-2011). She has mastered in many art forms and excelled surpassing many in the same field.
One of her unique creations is SCULPTURES FROM BLACK BOARD CHALK STICKS. She has made around 600 sculptures and it has got widespread appreciation all over world as unparalleled creation. Apart from these she has made sculptures from stone, cement, clay, china clay etc. All are separate and unique from others.


SHE HAS DONE ANOTHER RESEARCH WORK, i.e SHE MADE 42 PAINTINGS ON THE THEME OF OSCAR WINNING FILM-MAKER SATYAJIT RAY’S FILMS IN HER VIEW which was exhibited at Nandan (West Bengal Govt’s Film Centre) at the time of Satyajit Ray’s works’ 50 years celebration.

ICCR (Main), New Delhi, Azad Bhavan has done Exhibition on these paintings along with her other sculptures.

An ex-News Reader in Calcutta Doordarshan and one of the ex-advisory board members in the same, Ramita Bhaduri has explored many fields in her life and adding to the many was a freelance journalist in ‘Anandalok’ of Ananda Bazar Patrika Group. She is M.A (Edu),B.Ed(1st Class) from Calcutta University.

She is ‘Kalasridhar’ in Art, Gold, and Silver Medal Winner in All India Art Contest organized by Calcutta University. She has got several degrees and gold, silver medals for art and music throughout her career.

She is the Enlisted VIP of High Commission of India, London’s Cultural Wing, The Nehru Centre, and London. She has exhibited her artworks in many places. High Commission India, London has done her Exhibition at Nehru Centre, London. Recently, Global Research and Record Foundation (GRRF) has written article on her---- 'Iconic Record Holder of India--Ramita Bhaduri'.
