The 23-year-old Unnao rape victim who was
airlifted to Delhi and
admitted to Safdarjung Hospital with
90 per cent burns after being set on fire has died, hospital sources
said. The rape case victim who was set ablaze in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao
was declared dead at 11:40 pm due to cardiac arrest in the national capital on
December 6. She was airlifted to Safdarjung Hospital on December 05. The HOD
(burns and plastic) in Safdarjung Hospital, Dr Shalabh Kumar said, “She
suffered cardiac arrest at 11:10 pm and we tried to resuscitate her, but she
could not survive and at 11:40 pm she died.”
