Venkaiah Naidu, the chairman of Rajya Sabha, has appointed
Manmohan Singh to parliamentary standing committee on Finance. He has been nominated
as a replacement for Digvijaya Singh. According to the sources of report, the
chairman of the upper house has designated Digvijay Singh to parliamentary
standing committee on urban development.
