Controversial BJP MP Sadhvi
Pragya Thakur has just been nominated to a Parliamentary Consultative Committee
in the Ministry of Defence. The committee has 21 members and is headed by
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Thakur had earlier been mired in several
controversial statements, including one when she called Nathuram Godse a
patriot. She is also an accused in the Malegaon blasts case. The committee will
also include Opposition leaders like Sharad Pawar and Farooq Abdullah.
