In an unusual comment on the current air pollution prevailing in the northern states of India, BJP leader from Meerut Vineet Agarwal Sharda claimed that the neighboring countries, mainly Pakistan and China are behind it. “Some are claiming it's because of stubble burning farmers and some others claim that it is because of industries,'' he said. He claimed that farmers and businessmen go hand and hand and one should not question them. He also stated that he thought poisonous air is being released by frightened neighboring countries like Pakistan or China.
