Several parts of Valley and Ladakh have received huge
snowfall and hence it increases the risks of avalanche. On Monday, an avalanche
had hit an army patrol at Siachen glacier in Ladakh where six soldiers have got
trapped and two porters have trapped under the mounds of snow. According to the
sources of army officials, the incident took place near about 3pm in the
northern regions of Siachen glacier.
