The Kolkata police have sought the permission of juvenile
justice board in order to prosecute the case against 17 year old boy who has involved
with the alleged rape case of a woman earlier this month. The juvenile justice board
has sought the time for seeking socio economic report in respect of that youth
by December 5, after that they will take decision on the prosecution of the
case. The fact is that if major charges have been registered against the minor,
then he may be charged under adult sections.
