The government of Goa has prohibited
utilization of plastics due to some serious issues of pollution. This
notification will be activated from 2nd October, 2019. The
government has issued a circular in
respect of the particulars on 27th September. The administrative authorities
of Goa have also further announced that they want to review the law of Non-Biodegradable
Garbage Act due to the prohibition of single use of plastic items.
