The State Government of West Bengal has
announced an unemployment benefit of Rs. 25,000 for the Puja committees of West
Bengal. The Government has also declared for 25 percent discount on respective
power bills for arranging Durga pujas in West Bengal. She has also prohibited
on the payment of any income tax for the organizing committees of Durga Puja.
