Basant Rath has come to make the bridges
between the locals of the Kashmir valley. He is an IPS officer as well as an
inspector general of respective police of Odisha. He used his phone to
facilitate the communications between the locals in Jammu & Kashmir. The
decision of Central government for scrapping the special status of Jammu and
Kashmir has brought a profound difference between respective locals as well as
non-locals. There are certain places in Kashmir where respective local officers
of Kashmir have no dare to travel around. Basant travelled to these places on a
motorcycle without any security. The visit of Basant has brought a great smile on many
people of Kashmir.
